Wacky Wednesday

Wacky Wednesday trips to Craftopia have
returned beginning today!
It's hard to say where we'll end up as we travel to the places that our
imaginations take us. I think it's different for everyone!
The adventure begins this morning at 11:00 and we will travel to the
outer limits of imagination until we land back here at noon.
Today's project is going to be about making your own personalized
bracelet.
We're using the Bangle Boutique kit for this one that comes
with everything we need to complete our project. We will get our craftainer out because
you never know where inspiration will take us!

Wacky Wednesday

We're planning, we're creating, and we're getting Wacky!
Oh yeah! Wacky Wednesday trips to Craftopia are starting again next week! It's been so long since we've captured the things in the craftainer making something!
Craftopia... where we can let our imaginations run free,
our glitter glue shine, our projects happen,
and our adventures soar!
Craftopia, the time when we get out the craftainer and all our
goodies to make something, draw something, create something
that only one can do while in Craftopia.
We've got a great line up so far and it's FREE!

Wacky Wednesday

It's a musical Wacky Wednesday
as we convert some ordinary
treasures into a Banjo!
We're not so sure our banjos will look as slick as
this one but we're gonna give it a try!
What we need:
2 Paper Plates
3 or 4 large Rubber Bands
Paint stir stick
Tape, glue, glitter, stickers, markers
Start by connecting the 2 paper plates with glue or tape on top of one another. Attach the paint stir stick to the back of the plates with tape or glue so the tapered end is opposite the plates. Stretch the rubber bands across the plate from the stick side to the opposite side. The rubber bands will cross the back of the plates as well. Viola! Finish your instrument by personalizing it with glitter, stickers and markers. That's it, you're now ready to be the next Ricky Skaggs!

Wacky Wednesday

This is a pretty cool Craftopia project!
I made my Tyrannosaurus Rex  out of a paper plate, soft foam sheet pieces, and a few brass fasteners so her arms, legs, and head can move! Her eye is also a brass fastener .
Part of our Craftopia adventure is getting out the craftainer to see what we can work with. For this project,  I found the plates, the foam that was leftover from another Craftopia adventure, and some markers to make this T Rex more colorful than any T Rex I had ever seen!
You'll have to make a tough decision today as you decide if you're gonna make a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Diplodocus, or a Stegasaurus!
