There is some debate as to whether Unicorns fart rainbows or glitter, the explanation above shows one theory of how a Unicorn could possibly fart a rainbow. Other theories include Unicorns actually flying through rainbows and accidentally swallowing some rainbow dust, Unicorns eating skittles, and the possibility of the Unicorn waving their magic hoof (only one of the four are magical) as they poot to turn the poot into a rainbow!
The other school of thought claims that Unicorns actually fart glitter.... this gets a little complicated! The hoof theory also applies here but theorists claim there is a fancy prance step that must be completed before the fart in order for the flatulence to turn to glitter, other instances of glitter farts are taken from the little known fact that each Unicorn has a rider (a fairy) and when the Unicorn farts, it is up to the rider fairy to wave their fairy wand and fill the air with glitter!
Another legend contends that Unicorns are naturally able to fart glitter as a defense against predators. This very same legend points out that Unicorns developed glitter farts to blind their opponents in battle. Since Unicorns do not know how to fight, they instinctively shot glitter into the eyes of their opponents to temporarily make their eyes water so the Unicorn could escape safely. This method also shamed the predators as they had to explain to their fellow predators that a Unicorn farted glitter in their eye and that is why they were late for dinner!

Flashback Friday
Gee whiz, that was 3 years ago! We did a puppet show in the back of the truck.... the 3 little pigs and a big bad wolf. We had a hard time making the straw house and the twig house but it worked and the big bad wolf never blew our houses down!
Last year was just silly fun in our alien chase vehicle complete with Aliens, crazy hair, light up glasses, and foil! We had our geek on! That seems pretty easy for me to do....
This year I think we're gonna kill it with our "We herd they were coming" theme. Zebras.
We herd zebras were coming to Durango. We even have Zebra suits to wear!
Can't wait to see you at the Snowdown 2014 Light parade!

Flashback Friday
Remembering...... last year for SnowDown was our first parade entry, I believe we had a Geek Squad UFO sighting vehicle..... and a few of our own earthbound alien types hanging out with us.....
Pith helmets..... we made pith helmets back in March when we did the passports at the fairgrounds.... that was cool! We cut the rims off of paper plates, and placed that around a paper bowl and taped the whole thing together. A chin strap for safety and we were set.....
We herd they're coming.... the zebras that is! Not really ordinary zebras but mythical zebras.... Zebracorns of bright colors that look sorta like a unicorn and a zebra but, but, but, they re different and they certainly act differently..... perhaps we'll just turn the truck into a giant pink Zebracorn too! What if the Zebracorns poop on the street during the parade? It seems like they would just leave a giant pile of glitter behind.....
I better get the word out!

Words of Wisdom.....
I just love this quote,
"Don't play leap frog with a Unicorn!"
I just love this quote,
"Don't play leap frog with a Unicorn!"
When in a toy store,
one must be ready for any adventure!
Remember when Mikey was visiting and we were standing on the corner by the restaurant and Debbie (his wife) said, "The stars seem so much brighter here than in Michigan!" Then, Mikey and I, at the same time said, "It's because we're closer!" That's just funny!
