Dinosaurs 101

The 2nd main type of Dinosaur on this adventure!
Ceratopsians: ser-ah-topse-an
Among the oddest-looking dinosaurs
that ever lived were the ceratopsians!
Characterized by their horned faces and including such familiar dinosaurs as Einosaurus,
Triceratops, and Pentaceratops. All of these had huge frilled, horned skulls. Most ceratopsians
were comparable in size to modern cattle or elephants, but one of the most common Ceratopsians
of the Cretaceous period, Protoceratops, only weighed a few hundred pounds and was not very
 tall.
