Let us dispel a myth...

 

 There's no such creature as a "pterodactyl."

Really, this is the word most people use to describe a Pteranodon.  Nobody really knows when this started either. In any case, it is true that Fred Flintstone would get himself some Pterodactyl wings for dinner but remember, that was in a cartoon!
