I can only picture my mom sitting at the table and raising her eyebrow at me when I would complain that I was bored.
Back in the day, there were no IPads, IPods, IPhones, or other electronic gadgets to occupy the hours, we were left to our own devices!!!!
Here's some ideas for you!
No this isn't Inspector Clouseau, but he could be if you wanted him to be!
Howz 'about a scavenger hunt around the house and around the yard? You could make lists that include items you can never find when you're looking for them them like, a paperclip, a safety pin, needle & thread, a pen that works, and the bonus item would be the socks that get lost in the dryer!
The winner gets a night off of doing chores....

Broccoli never looked so beautiful! Dip this one in Ranch dressing and he becomes a white poodle and a snack no one can resist!
The possibilities are endless!
Picture a rock band made with green onions, a centipede made from hot dog slices and ketchup legs, a dolphin that's really a banana, a spider thatza mushroom with toothpick legs, a lemon that becomes a pig, or a race car that's made from a cucumber!
Don't even get me started on all the faces you can make with an apple or orange!
