Did Ya know?

Did Ya know?
The highest kite ever flown rose to an elevation of over 23, 800 feet? It probably wasn't a Dragon kite but that kite was used to gather weather information.
In 1966 The Royal Guardsmen from Florida recorded the song that made Snoopy a pilot of his own airplane? Every time I walk by this kite all I can hear is the Snoopy song!

Being preoccupied with the thought of flying Alexander Bell developed what was probably the most rigid, strongest kite to help accomplish this goal. The tetrahedron which led to the basic cellular structure that helped lift man  off the ground!
