Albertaceratops... Shall we just call her Berty?
Albertaceratops (Greek for "Alberta horned face"); pronounced al-BERT-ah-SEH-rah-tops
We also think she could have gotten her name when she was discovered in Alberta Canada in 2001!
Berty loved her plans and leaves!
Habitat:
Woodlands of North America
Historical Period:
Late Cretaceous (80-75 million years ago)
Size and Weight:
About 10 feet long and 2-3 tons
Didya know that Ernie Einiosaurus was about twice as long as Berty?
But weighed about the same?
